The countdown is almost over: Palio 2026 is entering its most exciting phase with the final, unmissable events scheduled over the next few days. A program full of tradition, emotion, and entertainment that will accompany contrade members and visitors to the most awaited moment.

Thursday, March 19
The week begins with a moment of great religious and symbolic significance.

Saturday, March 21
Saturday will be an evening of conviviality and entertainment.

7:00 PM PARCO DELLA RIMEMBRANZA Opening of the Sbandieratore Tavern
Starting from 7:00 PM, the Sbandieratore Tavern will be open, becoming one of the main gathering points of the evening, where a giant screen will be set up to watch the Race and enjoy the Palio atmosphere together.

9:30 PM PIAZZA MATTEOTTI Blessing of the Palio 2026

10:00 PM PIAZZA MATTEOTTI Pair competition between the Flag Throwers and Drummers of the 8 Contrade; performance by the Flag Throwers and Drummers of the 4 Castles
